-Tevie (24, from Marietta, GA) makes a spectacular example of how a professional looks. As a UGA grad, she currently works for Teach For America (www.teachforamerica.org) and I can tell you what, I would teach for America and beyond if she asked me to. Besides being naturally gorgeous she dresses the part. Making a statement in fall’s popular berry colors, Tevie breaks the typecast that professionals can’t look stylish. You go girl.
-Since it is getting cold out, girls should most DEFINITELY be wearing leggings. This, is how a prime example of a how a trend gets a bad name. Maybe with tall boots these could work for this unfortunate soul… hopefully she will eventually get the memo.
-Socks with sandals…not only painful but the ultimate fashion faux-pas.
-Emily (20, from Atlanta, GA) may be sporting the standard UGA casual look, but she does it perfectly. She demonstrates how you can wear everyday pieces together to make a casual day have a little more oomph.

-Sara (23, from Warner Robbins, GA) may not have entered the real world yet, but thankfully her wardrobe is ready. -Seriously? Brand overkill, that says it all.
-Jesse (21, from Gainesville, GA) and Drew (21, from Gainesville, GA) are Athens socialites who try to make their chic style low key during the day. Hitting the books and actually looking mighty studious comes naturally to these two. A good style hint for guys is that fun sunglasses can brighten up a seemingly normal ensemble.
-Ashley (23, from Fayetteville, GA) is on her “victory lap” of her senior year…and doing it in a stylish and eye-catching manner. She has a trendy vibe and works it like a pro.
-I am going to get dressed this afternoon and wear gym shorts, sandals, and leg warmers. This will look not only great, but is extremely practical.

-Chris (22, from Butler, GA) is all smiles and why shouldn’t he be? Look at how much fun he looks. Despite having a wonderful upbeat personality, I knew what I was getting into when I saw him hauling it on North Campus. He dresses how he feels: happy.
-Hana (20, from Stone Mountain, GA) wears red and black on a non-game day without looking too UGA’d out. On top of having a great outfit, she shows that you can experiment with hair and self-expression in a classy way. She pulls off a unique look in a very chic manner.
-Lauren (20, from Fayetteville, GA) looks like she should be on the cover of a student booklet about campus life at UGA. Maybe its the khakis that make her look so proper- but she looks cute and comfortable. This versatile look can be worn for practically any occasion.

-Chelse (18, from Gainseville. GA) literally matches her hair to her shoes. Despite the fact the picture quality is sub-par (click on it to enlargen to get a better idea) she really knows what she is doing. I love her effort and her individuality.
-Another day, another buttcrack.
-Bobby (32, from Athens, GA) is extremely excited it is Halloween time. I mean, he already has the Jack-O-Lantern look (embracing his minimal teeth) to a tee. And what an opportunity- it’s costume time year-round for him. Love him for maintaining a spirited environment in Athens.
-Louisa (21, from Savannah, GA) looks effortlessly wonderful. And she should look her best: she broke up with her boyfriend today, therefore she is single and ready to mingle. If you see this girl on campus, try and set her up. She dresses well enough, that is for sure.
-This is what I mean with the lack of knowledge with leggings: some polka-dotted mess with leggings that don’t match. It’s rather nauseating. Just wear one or the other and don’t overdo it. But apparently she didn’t get the message.

-Leslie (21, from St. Simons, GA) explores her fashion sense by taking risks and doing it justice. The belt is my particular favorite, worn so it catches the eye but isn’t too bling. Also, you’ll notice “booties” making a comeback this year. If worn right, I have to say they are great. A flat pair for daytime is a great accessory.
-Okay, so the timing of this picture… cruel, I KNOW, but admit it is priceless. These pants were atrocious from a distance and the closer I came to them the worse it became. This “pose” clearly took it over the top. What is printed on her legs? A scene of a movie? A landscape? No no no, this is not good. Not good at all.
-Elyse (20, from Decatur, GA) is smoking hot and delicate at the same time. She dresses so appropriately and lady-like that I find her lack of accessories working to her advantage. I love everything from the way she is wearing her headband, her loose layers mixed with skinny jeans, and the fact that she has the confidence to pose like a supermodel.
-Fact: Uggs don’t bother me as an article of clothing. It is how you wear them and in what context that makes or breaks them. I think they are incredibly comfortable and great with jeans and pants. But boxer shorts…what are you trying to tell the world? Frankly, you just look like every other girl with that same fashion mentality. MAKE IT STOP!
-This picture was taken and sent to me by a fellow peer- proving that UGAstyle is starting to catch on. The photographer explained that it was 80 degrees outside. So, I ask this fashion victim: I know you must own Rainbows, why not put those on instead? Okay, so maybe you have nasty toes. Then wear running shoes. You look like you’re going to the gym anyway. Basically, what is the point?

-Overzealous religious maniac talking to a crowd in Athens: very lame, but my oh my so entertaining.

-The buttcrack epidemic has swept Athens. Is there a vaccine at the CDC to cure this? I can semi-handle a hot girl’s thong…but this…this is cruel to the eyes.
-Lauren (21, from Marietta, GA) incorporates metallics and neutrals in the most appropriate way. She happens to be adorable and wears a thick belt like nobody’s business.
-Edward (19, from Atlanta, GA) may look like Kanye from afar, but up close you can see he has it together all on his own. The tie underneath the shirt is a risky style statement…but let me just say he makes it work. Eddie, if you are out there, you look like magic. I love it.
-Leopard print…weird backpack…bad crimped hair.
-Maybe zebra shirt?…weirder backpack…and literally the most horrific hair on a guy I’ve seen east of the Mississippi.

-This girl has a bad case of chronic fugly hair, and since she is clueless on what to do with it- she literally took the time this morning to style it to make it look like a bird’s nest. This is just a crying shame.
-If you are a lunch lady then you deserve the right to have red cactus like hair. When you have to wear a hairnet to work, then your ‘do is automatically awesome.
-This must be why they are together…most people aren’t attracted to people with hair color that is found nowhere in nature. I’m happy they have found other. (and please note the origin of her t-shirt.)
-This is a confused guy who thought that a ponytail with a braid just wasn’t enough. Tortured onlookers also get the pleasure of tasting the rainbow.

-Cuffed jeans and pink Sperrys scream no style whatsoever. I find this bland and boring. Do yourself a favor, please just hem your pants and throw your shoes off a steep cliff (have you ever even worn them on a boat??) along with your lifetime supply of Vera Bradley bags and Croakies.
-Rebecca (20, from Atlanta, GA) is exactly what makes me love the transitional time between summer and fall. She perfectly incorporates a long summer dress in the most appropriate way. Which is a hard task in this rather fickle weather.
-The way the man to the right of the picture is holding his cell phone to get this girl’s number, it looks like she is wearing a police badge. That would be great if this was Halloween. However, just because you are in the same month as the holiday does NOT make it okay to dress in what would be a good cop costume. Rule of thumb: show off one body part (in moderation), and not your entire body because otherwise you just look like an slut.
-Jimmy (19, from Augusta, GA) is going for a Bob Dylan look, where he is cool and laid back- which makes the style work. Guys keeping it simple but making an attempt to look presentable…love it.

-Enough with the freaking mid-calf leggings. These especially break the law because of the heinous tattoo print on them. This look is simply PLAYED OUT.
-Another legging violation: when your dress ends right above the knees you don’t need leggings. It’s 2008 its socially acceptable to show that much leg, honey.
-Man wearing a purse. A pink one. Someone please help this lost soul.
