Christopher Kane Spring 2012 RTW

At first I wanted to like this look for its bright floral appliqués and ghostly sheer fabric (four layers of 70% aluminum organza, according to style.com), but my amorous thoughts were instantly shattered by the sight of the heinous footwear. These so-called “pool shoes” were worn by every model throughout the show giving each beautiful young woman legs that look like an 80-year-old man walking on a beach… ew.
