Christopher Kane, the Scottish-born designer who can make much more than kilts,  is probably one of the most innovative ready-to-wear designers around today. For Spring 2009, he has a temporary self-proclaimed obsession with scales and balance,  that is elegantly translated into half-circle 3-D geometric designs. His wacky, yet tasteful themes make him worthy of going in circles for.
